Chophouse on Broad Street: Premium Steaks & Exceptional Dining in Rome, GA

Dianemarie Collins celebrated her birthday tonight at The Chophouse in Rome. 5 Star Food and Service. Owner Charles Hellier greeted us personally and thanked us for spending DM’s birthday at The Chop House . Absolutely amazing to have a restaurant for special occasions and excellent food and service in Rome. Pay attention to the details like the wine aeration and the salt dish that offers sea salt and pink Himalayan salt. The steaks are seared at 1800 degrees (think Ruth’s Chris). Shareable sides. 3 experienced chefs and a staff who understands great service! Wow! OMG! Totally memorable. Rombauer Chardonnay and Duckhorn Merlot.

What an amazing experience in Rome Ga. Here for a business meeting and never expected to have the best steak of my life in such a small southern town. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, perfect for a date night or a business meal. The service was awesome. We had a 15 person party and had 3 waiters assigned to us. Drinks were immediately served and the waitstaff remained attentive and speedy the whole meal. It was also nice they had high quality wines by the glass. Something I don’t often see. The owner stopped by and chatted to us for a bit - you can tell how passionate he is about the place. Also the prices were very affordable for such high quality food. Oof - truley did not expect to be blown away by a meal in Rome Ga!!

Had an amazing dinner at Chophouse on Broad Street! The filet was cooked perfectly—super tender and full of flavor. We also had the pork belly appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere is charming and upscale without feeling stuffy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great steakhouse.(Photos don’t do justice. )

This restaurant has only been open a couple of weeks, and the night we went, they were super busy. Service was still excellent, especially considering we went for Mother's Day. My husband had the prime rib, and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend the brussel sprouts for your side. So good!! I really like the way Chophouse does their sides. They are all sharable and the serving size is pretty big. You do have to order your sides separately, which I did not know at first, but when we ordered it after our main dishes arrived, our waitress got our sides out of the kitchen incredibly fast. I'm not really a dessert person, but they all looked amazing. We ordered the sugarless cheesecake, and it was delicious and the perfect size to share. Again, we had a good experience and would definitely go back.

So amazing! We were visiting from out of state and will make this our go to place now each time we come! Food was amazing, service was great, atmosphere was great! Owner was working hard walking around to all tables greeting everyone. It is a must try, and must continue to go!

We had a group of 20 at the Chophouse on a Friday night. Our service was excellent, and our food was great. Talked to the owner several times, who was very attentive to our group. The prices were fair and we will definitely go back soon. I highly recommend the Chophouse in Rome.

Ever feel like Rome needs a place as nice as the people in it? Well (drumroll please) Here it is!!! (Atmosphere)As you walk in the door you are greeted by two sweet smiling faces, in front of a frosted glass wall, asking if you have a reservation. The tables all with white linen tablecloths are far enough apart that you don't hear the conversation of the person sitting next to you. The exposed brick walls in the clean lines throughout the restaurant both speak upscale and homey. From the light jazz playing in the background to the quick service for drinks it's a wonderful start to a lovely evening! (Service) Michelle our server was both respectful and complimentary! I always have a hard time deciding and Michelle was great at helping me decide which entrees to choose. Even the owner, Helier, came over and had a quick chat with us We are so excited for his new restaurant! (Food) I chose the wedge salad with the cowboy steak mashed potatoes and broccoli My husband had the filet. Perfectly cooked I ordered a medium minus and it came out exactly as I liked! This steak was melt in your mouth great! The star of the show though was not the steak but the port wine reduction! Wow wow wow I can't say enough good things about how much I liked the way the demigloss went from a playful sweet to a rich savory all while showcasing the steak itself as well! I have had a lot of steak at a lot of high end steak houses this one is definitely top five!! No more need to drive to Marietta I'm sure we'll have a usual at some point soon! What a gem in Rome, Georgia! The food here is absolutely delicious — every dish is prepared with such care and flavor that it makes you want to come back again and again. The ambience is warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed evening out or a special occasion. Our server Shannon was great and the owner stopped by our table a couple of times to make sure we were having an enjoyable experience! Highly recommended!!
